India has made a significant debut at Russian Energy Week 2026, stepping in as the Forum’s inaugural partner country. This exhibition highlights India’s diverse energy landscape, encompassing both traditional and renewable sectors, while fostering discussions on collaborative projects, energy efficiency, infrastructure, and technology transfer.

The pavilion boasts an engaging interactive display featuring holographic cylinders that illustrate potential partnerships in oil and gas exploration, production, refining, petrochemicals, hydrogen, compressed biogas, and sustainable aviation fuel. It showcases eight prominent Indian companies, including ONGC, Oil India, IndianOil, BPCL, HPCL, GAI (India) Limited, and Engineers India Limited.

Vladimir Zatynayko, Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of Russian Energy Week, emphasised that the three-day Forum offers a valuable opportunity for companies to explore projects and pinpoint areas of shared interest. He expressed gratitude to the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industries for accepting the invitation and presenting Indian projects in Moscow.

“The collaboration between Russia and India in the energy sector is not only strategic but also enduring. Joint initiatives are pivotal in enhancing the energy security of both nations and establishing a foundation for sustainable sector development amid evolving economic landscapes,” remarked Vladimir Khazov, Deputy Director of the Department for International Cooperation at the Russian Ministry of Energy.
