
Adani Green Energy has announced a capital expenditure plan of $3.64 billion for the current fiscal year to add 5 gigawatts (GW) of clean energy capacity, marking a nearly 50 per cent increase over last year’s target. CEO Ashish Khanna shared the update during an analyst call on Tuesday, highlighting the company’s commitment to scaling renewable energy infrastructure.
Khanna stated that Adani Green has established a robust capital management framework to support its ambitious 50 GW capacity target by 2030 while maintaining strict credit discipline. He emphasised that the fiscal 2026 capex is fully funded through a combination of debt and equity. A major part of the company’s expansion is the 30 GW renewable energy project under development in Khavda, Gujarat.
Financially, the company reported a strong performance for the March quarter, with a 23.5 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit at ₹383 crore. For the fiscal year ending March 31, net profit surged by 59 per cent to ₹2,001 crore. Total income grew 15 per cent in the fourth quarter to ₹3,278 crore and 18 per cent for the full fiscal to ₹12,422 crore. Revenue from power supply increased 37 per cent year-on-year to ₹2,666 crore in the quarter and rose 23 per cent to ₹9,495 crore for the full year.

Adani Green’s EBITDA from power supply stood at ₹8,818 crore for the fiscal year, reflecting a 22 per cent increase over the previous year. In FY25, the company added 3.3 GW of greenfield capacity, accounting for 16 per cent of India’s utility-scale solar additions and 14 per cent of wind capacity. The new installations included 1,460 MW of solar and 599 MW of wind energy at Khavda, 1,000 MW of solar power in Rajasthan, and 250 MW in Andhra Pradesh.
