Adani Energy Solutions has announced an impressive 147.7% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated profit for the July-September quarter of the financial year 2026-27 (FY27), reaching ₹1,322.85 crore, a significant jump from ₹533.97 crore during the same period last year.

In the transmission sector, revenue soared by 51.7% to ₹13,598.71 crore in Q2FY27, up from ₹2,371.96 crore a year earlier.

The smart meter division experienced a remarkable 111.5% increase in revenue, reaching ₹384.14 crore, up from ₹181.64 crore in Q2FY26. The distribution segment saw a modest growth of 2%, generating ₹3,181.43 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹3,117.91 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. Grew 2 per cent to ₹3,181.43 crore during the quarter, against ₹3,117.91 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

The company’s smart meter business recorded a 111.5 per cent jump in revenue to ₹384.14 crore, compared with 181.64 crore in Q2FY26.

Additionally, the energy solutions platform witnessed an extraordinary nearly 11-fold increase in revenue, climbing to ₹2,196.94 crore from ₹200.61 crore in the same quarter last year, marking the highest percentage growth among all business segments reported.

Revenue from other operations also saw a substantial rise of 252.8%, reaching ₹318.28 crore, compared to ₹90.22 crore in the previous year.

Notably, the company’s profit growth significantly outstripped its revenue increase during the quarter, with profit attributable to the owners of the parent company rising by 147.7%, while revenue from operations grew by 52.8%.
