V-GREEN Energy Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) to roll out electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities at key locations, the companies said on Friday.
Under the alliance, V-GREEN and HPCL will work together to install, operate and maintain EV charging stations across HPCL’s fuel retail outlets and other high-footfall locations. The collaboration is expected to accelerate the availability of EV charging infrastructure for users of electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, cars and commercial vehicles.
Officials said the tie-up comes at a time when demand for electric mobility solutions is growing rapidly in India, supported by government incentives and increasing consumer adoption. By leveraging HPCL’s extensive retail network and V-GREEN’s expertise in EV charging technology, the partnership aims to enhance convenience and accessibility for EV users.
The charging stations will feature a range of power capacities to serve different vehicle categories and are expected to be integrated with digital payment systems for ease of use. V-GREEN and HPCL plan to prioritise installations along major highways, urban corridors and strategic points that cater to commuter and logistics traffic.
A senior company official said, “Our partnership with HPCL will help us bring high-quality and reliable EV charging services closer to users, supporting the shift towards sustainable mobility.”

With the agreement now in place, both organisations will begin site identification and deployment planning, with the first wave of charging facilities expected to become operational in the coming months. The initiative is seen as part of broader efforts to build a robust EV ecosystem in India.
