Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has issued a ₹1,050 crore Letter of Intent (LOI) to Hyderabad-based Bondada Engineering Limited for the supply of Balance of System (BoS) components for a 650 MW solar power project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. This move is part of AGEL’s broader strategy to develop the world’s largest renewable energy plant, spanning 538 square kilometres in the Kutch region.
The project scope includes the complete design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance, packing, and delivery of BoS materials to the site. Additionally, the agreement covers Factory Acceptance Tests, rectification and remedial works, and provision of necessary tools and equipment.

The Khavda Renewable Energy Park is a flagship initiative by AGEL, aiming to achieve a 30 GW renewable energy capacity. The first phase commenced in December 2023, with full-scale development expected to be completed in the coming years. Upon completion, the park is set to become the world’s largest power plant by capacity, surpassing existing global benchmarks.
