Vikram Solar, a leading manufacturer of solar PV modules, has announced that it has secured a significant order for a 150 MW renewable power project from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO), a government entity in Maharashtra. The order involves the supply of 150 MW of Vikram Solar’s advanced N-type solar modules, known for their superior performance and high energy yield.
The modules will be deployed across the districts of Jalgaon and Solapur in Maharashtra, under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0 — a flagship initiative aimed at powering agricultural feeders through solar energy. According to an official statement from the company, this project further strengthens Vikram Solar’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solar solutions that contribute to India’s renewable energy goals.
Expressing enthusiasm over the development, Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, stated that securing this order reaffirms the company’s dedication to powering a greener India through high-efficiency solar technologies. He emphasised that Maharashtra continues to be a high-priority market with substantial potential, and the company is committed to supporting its growing renewable energy needs with reliable and value-driven solutions.
