Energy Supply & Logistics (ESL) has finalised an agreement to introduce Piped Natural Gas (PNG) services in Ranchi, marking a major step toward expanding clean-fuel infrastructure in the region. The partnership aims to make PNG accessible to both residential and commercial consumers, enabling a gradual shift from conventional fuels such as LPG, firewood, and coal.

Under the agreement, PNG network expansion will include the development of new pipelines, service connections, and supply infrastructure to streamline distribution across multiple localities in the city. The initiative is expected to improve energy availability and provide residents with a safer, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly fuel option.
