According to recent reports, Oswal Energies Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Deendayal Port Authority (Kandla-Gandhidham) to jointly develop a portfolio of green energy projects, including facilities for green hydrogen, green methanol, green ammonia, and a 100 million-litre-per-day desalination plant.

The collaboration is aimed at advancing India’s National Green Energy Mission and supporting the nation’s broader net-zero emissions goals. Under the agreement, Oswal Energies will lead the implementation and technology integration of these initiatives, leveraging its expertise in clean energy infrastructure.

The MoU was exchanged during India Maritime Week 2025 in Mumbai, with senior officials from both organisations present at the event. The partnership is expected to enhance green fuel availability and sustainable industrial growth in the coastal region, contributing to India’s transition toward a low-carbon economy.
