Andhra Pradesh is positioning itself as a frontrunner in green energy and technological innovation, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu highlighting the state’s commitment to becoming a hub for renewable energy, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital technology. Speaking ahead of the CII Partnership Summit 2025, scheduled for November 14–15 in Visakhapatnam, Naidu said the state is actively promoting clean energy adoption, innovation-led growth, and public-private collaborations to strengthen India’s energy and technology ecosystem.

The Chief Minister noted that Andhra Pradesh’s renewable energy sector has seen robust growth, with solar, wind, and hybrid power projects contributing significantly to the state’s energy mix. Policies supporting ease of doing business, investor-friendly regulations, and sustainable energy development have positioned Andhra Pradesh as an attractive destination for domestic and international investors in the clean energy space.

Naidu also emphasised the state’s focus on emerging technologies, particularly AI and digital solutions, which are being integrated across governance, education, healthcare, and industrial applications. By fostering innovation hubs, technology parks, and skill development programs, Andhra Pradesh aims to nurture a talent-driven ecosystem capable of supporting India’s broader digital transformation goals.

The upcoming CII Partnership Summit is expected to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and technology innovators to explore strategic collaborations, investment opportunities, and sustainable development initiatives. The summit will showcase Andhra Pradesh’s strengths in green energy, smart infrastructure, and AI-driven solutions, while providing a platform to accelerate public-private partnerships for socio-economic growth.

Experts note that Andhra Pradesh’s proactive approach to renewable energy and technology adoption could serve as a blueprint for other Indian states seeking to balance industrial growth with sustainability. By combining policy support, investment facilitation, and technology-driven innovation, the state is poised to play a key role in India’s journey toward a low-carbon, digitally empowered economy.
