Adani Green Energy Ltd posted a consolidated net profit of ₹644 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, which is up approximately 28 % from ₹515 crore in the like period a year ago. Revenue from power supply grew to ₹2,776 crore, increasing about 20 % from ₹2,308 crore a year earlier, while total income for the quarter stood at ₹3,249 crore, slipping from ₹3,396 crore in Q2 FY25.
The company said its operational renewable capacity rose 49 % year-on-year, reaching 16.7 GW as of September 30. That growth was driven by additions across solar, wind and hybrid assets, including more than 4.2 GW of greenfield projects over the past year. Energy sales jumped by 39 % to 19,569 million units, compared to 14,128 million units in the same quarter a year earlier.

In its statement, AGEL emphasised that progress at its flagship 30 GW renewable-energy park at Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat remains on track, and listed digitalisation of operations and localisation of supply chains as key pillars of its execution strategy.
Analysts say the strong profit growth, despite flat to slightly down total incomes, reflects improved underlying power generation, better capacity utilisation and cost discipline. For India’s clean energy sector, the results underscore how scaling renewable capacity and ramping output remain central to the business models of large players.
