Suzlon Group has won a 378 MW wind energy project from NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), marking a significant addition to the latter’s growing renewable energy portfolio. This order forms part of NGEL’s broader allocation of 1,544 MW in wind power projects as it accelerates its shift towards a cleaner, greener energy mix.
As per the agreement, Suzlon will supply 120 of its advanced S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each mounted on hybrid lattice towers (HLTs) and rated at 3.15 MW. The scope of work includes end-to-end project execution—covering foundation work, erection, commissioning—and comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-installation.
